Sophie loved to paint, but she had never shown her artwork to anyone. She was shy and worried that people wouldn’t like what she created. One day, her art teacher, Mrs. Green, announced that the school was having an art show. Students could submit their best paintings, and Sophie wanted to participate.
Sophie spent hours working on a painting of a beautiful landscape. She used bright colors to show the sun setting over a field of flowers. When she finished, she felt proud, but also scared. What if no one liked it? What if people thought it was silly?
The day of the art show arrived, and Sophie decided to submit her painting. She watched as people walked around the gallery, looking at all the different pieces of art. Her painting was displayed in the corner, and she stood nervously nearby, waiting to see how people reacted.
To her surprise, many people stopped to admire her painting. Some even complimented her on the colors and the peaceful feeling it gave them. Mrs. Green came over and told Sophie how proud she was of her for sharing her work.
Sophie realized that she had been too hard on herself. She had created something beautiful, and people appreciated it. From that day on, Sophie felt more confident about her art and wasn’t afraid to share her work with others.
